Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 7, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at Mary Richarson Community Center, 780 South Beech Street, Picayune, MS 39466.

Mother Nannie Lue Berry-Harper, 90, was born on June 22, 1936 to the late Nora Bass and Pleas Myers in Bassfield, MS. She attended Carver High School, Bassfield, MS.

Mother Nannie Lue was a member of Weems Chapel United Methodist Church, Picayune, MS.

Mother Nannie Lue enjoyed cooking (which she was an excellent cook), loved decorating for every holiday and season changed, and working in her flowerbed and garden.

Mother Nannie Lue Berry-Harper departed her earthly life on Wednesday, October 22, 2026 at the Singing River Hospital in Pascagoula, MS.

Mother Nannie Lue was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Willie L. Berry and Paul L. Berry; daughter, Gloria R. Berry-Brown;

She leaves to cherish her memories, her loving and devoted children, Freddie (Paula) Berry, Helen (James) Booth, Howard (Melissa) Berry, Colette D. Berry, Martin (Donta) Berry, Reginald (Sheree) Berry, Akinsola L. Berry, step-daughter, C. Simone (James) Roche’; step-son, Stanley Berry; 22 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
