Memorial service with fellowship will be held Saturday, September 5, 2026 at Brown’s Funeral Home Chapel, 1011 Rosa Street, Picayune, MS 39466 at 3:00 pm.

Minnie Mae Holt-Crockrum was born January 26, 1944. to the late Samuel and Helen Holt of Poplarville, MS.

She was baptized at an early age and became a member of New Welcome Baptist Church in Poplarville, MS.

On Saturday, August 22, 2026, Minnie Mae, 82, transitioned from her earthly home embraced by her loving and devoted family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward E. Crockrum; her parents, Samuel and Helen Holt; her siblings, Samuel Holt, Jr., Helen Faye Holt-Davis, Mary” Mae” Holt-Terrell, Lonnie Holt, Sr., Virgie Holt-Peters, and Edward Holt, Sr.

Minnie is survived by her loving daughters, Natalie Simmons (Harry) and Ladetta Doom; her beautiful siblings, Mary Francis Osbin, Geneva Swain (Mack), Alvin “Bern” Holt (Hallie) and Lawrence Holt (Sharyn); her adorable grandchildren, Marquisha Holt, Rhajzah Crockrum, Blake Simmons, Savione Crockrum, Russell Doom; and great-grandchild, Waren Herbert, Jr.; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
