Graveside service will be held Friday, March 20, 2026, at Noon at the Picayune 8th Street Cemetery, Picayune, MS.
Joe was born August 10, 1957, in Picayune, MS, to the late Mable Biggs and Johnnie Love.
He was a graduate of the Class of 1975.
After serving five years in the United States Marine Corps, Joe was honorably discharged.
Joe began his career as a welder at Ingalls Shipbuilding in Pascagoula, Mississippi, where his strong work ethic and natural leadership helped him rise through the ranks to a supervisory role. He was proud of the work he did and the people he worked alongside. He continued in that role until his health began to decline.
He enjoyed fishing and entertaining his family and friends.
At the age of 68, Joe peacefully transitioned from this earthly life to his heavenly home on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at Slidell Memorial Hospital, surrounded by family.
Loving memories of Joe Biggs will be cherished by his wife of twenty-one years, Rose Biggs; two children, Reginald Lamar Conner and Jourdain Trey Biggs; two bonus children, Marcus Morris and Taccara Stubbs (Demon); six siblings, Bud Love (Rose), Greg Lowem Willie B. Cousin, Nell Biggs and Joann Jones; grandchildren, Rayliesha Conner, Ra'Marcus Conner, Viola Conner and Reginald Conner, Jr; two bonus grandchildren, Cameron Stubbs and Caden Stubbs; three godchildren, Tiffany Morris-Lopez, Jordan Morris-Lopez and Derrick John’s Sr.; sisters and brothers-in law, Vernessa Lee, Wynette Brown (Craig), Pete and Pat Morris, Jackson Hall (Zinell), Elisa Orange (Jeffrey) and Shawn Hall; two special friends, Marvin Arnold and Sandy Dedeaux; and nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mable Biggs and Johny Love and his bonus son, Edward Stubbs.
