Mr. Jeremy Dan-Yelle Antoine, beloved son, father, brother, and friend, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, September 6, 2025 at the age of 38.
Jeremy was born on December 28, 1986, to Ronald Antoine and Georgia Antoine Mark. He grew up in Picayune, MS, and graduated from Pearl River High School in 2006. A gifted athlete, Jeremy was known as one of the fastest players in the state, excelling on both sides of the ball as a wide receiver and cornerback. An elite competitor, he left an indelible mark on the football field with his speed, strength, and determination. His natural talent, drive, and dedication inspired all who watched him play.
As a young adult, Jeremy accepted Christ and lived as a devoted servant, sharing God’s word with everyone he encountered. His faith was unwavering, and his life reflected his deep love for Christ and others.
He is survived by his father, Ronald L. Antoine (Juanita) of Picayune, MS; his mother, Georgia Mark of Bogalusa, LA; his siblings, Rhonda Robinson (Paul) of North Richland Hills, TX; Linda Acker of Gulfport, MS; Ronald Thomas of Waveland, MS; Toni Darcy (Dwayne) of Kiln, MS; Feleica Thomas of Waveland, MS; Dustin Gray of Picayune, MS; and Gloria Newsom (Jerrod) of Picayune, MS.
Jeremy’s greatest joy was being a father. He leaves behind his beautiful children: daughter Kieleigh Nicole Antoine, son Kaydin Makayle Antoine of Folsom, LA, and son Kenyon DeShaun Antoine of Bogalusa, LA.
He will also be remembered by his loving aunts and uncles: Audray Faye McGowan (Timothy) of Picayune, MS; Dinah Jean Henry of McNeill, MS; Cath Cash (Robert) of Carriere, MS; Dale Holloway of McNeill, MS; Elizabeth Antoine Stewart of Picayune, MS; and Cleveland Holloway (Theresa) of Fountain, CO; along with his Godmother, Idora White of Poplarville, MS.
Jeremy’s legacy will forever live on in the lives he touched with his faith, smile, charisma, and unwavering love for his family and community.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at New Hebron Baptist Church, 111 Byrd Street, Carriere, MS 39426. Viewing will be from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., with services beginning promptly at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be in the McNeil Cemetery, McNeil, MS
