Helen Willie Taylor

Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 11, 2025 at1:00 p.m. at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church, Rev. Wyman Gauldin, Pastor will officiate at the service and Rev. Ronald Victor will be the eulogist. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time. Interment will be in the New Palestine Cemetery.
Mrs. Helen Willie Taylor, 88, was born on August 13, 1937, to the late Johnnie Victor and Mamie Adams. She was baptized at an early age and lived a life rooted in faith and service.
Helen worked for the Picayune Public Schools, where she found joy in being around children. She also loved visiting the sick and shut-in, often bringing baked goods and fruit to brighten their day. She cherished conversations about the Lord and shared her faith openly with others.
She leaves to cherish her memory her loving daughter, Earline Williams of Picayune, MS; three brothers, Pastor Prophet Ronald (Mary) Victor of Picayune, MS, Michael Victor of Chicago, IL, and Christopher Adams of Seattle, WA; four grandchildren, Tarshundra “Shay” Diggs, Deriera “Big Dip” Magee, and Draeshund “Lil Dip” Magee, all of Picayune, MS; thirteen great-grandchildren, Terence Magee, Keon Bolar, P’trance Fields, Mekeya Fields, Treyvon Magee, Kelton Magee, Jekia Hardy, Takeya Hardy, Jermoney Hardy, Dreadon Boone, Mya Magee, and Shanae Payton; nineteen great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earlie Taylor; her parents, Mamie Adams and Johnnie Victor; her brothers, J.C. Victor and Maurice Victor; her sister, Patricia Adams; her granddaughter, Tayniasha Magee; and her great-grandson, Vardel Jones.
Helen was a woman who truly loved the Lord, and her legacy of faith, kindness, and service will live on through all who knew and loved her.
