Don Carlos McDougle, Sr.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Psalm 23:4

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 27, 2026, at East Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church, at 1124 E. Jerusalem Avenue, Picayune, MS. Visitation will begin at 12:00 PM and continue until the service at 1:00 PM. Pastor Russell C. Davis will officiate. Interment will in the New Palestine Cemetery, 2500 Palestine Road, Picayune, MS.

Don Carlos McDougle was born on September 13, 1961, to the late Carolyn and Robert Lee McDougle Sr., in Picayune, MS.

On Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at the age of 64, Don peacefully transitioned to his heavenly home in Tacoma General Hospital, WA, surrounded by his loving family.

Don received his high school diploma from Picayune Memorial High School as a member of the Class of 1979. He continued his education at Pearl River Community College (formerly Pearl River Jr. College), where he earned an Associate of Applied Science degree.

Don accepted Christ early in life and was baptized at East Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church; his faith proved in the way he treated people—with kindness, patience, and a genuine heart. If you knew Don, you knew his smile. It was the kind that made you feel welcome the moment you walked in the room.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carolyn and Robert Lee McDougle Jr., and brother Alvin McDougle.

Don Sr. leaves to cherish his precious memories, his loving and devoted wife, Nadine Turner-McDougle; son, Don Carlos McDougle, Jr.; daughter, Ebony Nichole Everett (Mark Anthony); three grandsons, Lexington Adams, Jawayne Newkirk and Antonio Everett, all of Auburn, WA; brother, Timothy J. Morrison of TX; two sisters, Pamela Plummer (Tab) of TX and Tamecia (Missy) A.
