DeQuian Terrion Thompson

DeQuian Terrion Thompson, age 30, passed away after celebrating his birthday on March 4, doing what he loved—traveling to California and attending a game to see LeBron James.

DeQuian was passionate about football and began playing at the age of four, continuing throughout his high school years. He graduated from West Harrison High School in 2017 and later attended Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College.

He was a dedicated employee of Alder Security in Memphis, Tennessee, where he worked for nearly seven years.

With hearts full of love and unimaginable sorrow, DeQuian’s family mourns the loss of a son and brother whose presence meant everything. He was deeply loved by his devoted parents, Latonya Shantel Thompson and Joseph Thompson, and that love will forever live on in their hearts. He leaves behind his beloved siblings—Desmond Deshawn Thompson, Damariea Jamarcus Bernard Thompson, Dorian Devonte Jaheem Thompson, and DeAsiah LaDiva Shanta Christopher—who will continue to carry his memory, his spirit, and his love with them always. DeQuian’s impact reached far beyond words, and he will be forever missed by all who had the blessing of knowing him.

Visitation for family will be held Friday at 2:00 PM at Brown’s Funeral Home, 1011 Rosa Street, Picayune, MS 39466.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church, 501 Weems St,, Picayune, MS 39466, with viewing from 10:00 to 11:00 AM and the service beginning at 11:00 AM. 

Attire: Black. 

Repast will follow at Salem House, 26008 MS-43, Picayune, MS 39466.
